The Northrop PTA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation (EIN: 41-1758116). The purpose of the PTA is to provide financial support to Northrop. The PTA manages the money raised through donations and various fundraising activities. 

Challenge 100 (August-January)
Challenge 100 a no sales fundraiser with a goal of raising a $100 each day for the first 100 days of school. The money raised will help provide our teachers and support staff with a stipend that they may use to purchase much needed resources for their classrooms, field trips, etc. Funds raised will also be used to help fund grants that can be requested by teachers and staff members to meet the needs of the school.

Walk-A-Thon (October)
The sponsors the annual Walk-A-Thon to help raise funds to support various programs and events at Northrop.

Plant Sale (May)
The PTA partners with Gerten Greenhouses and Garden Centers to help you beautify your yard and help raise funds for Northrop at the same time.

Rally Around Northrop (End of School Year)
Rally Around Northrop is a 5K Run, 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk and Community Festival that helps raise funds for Northrop while celebrating the Northrop community.

Corporate Programs (Year Round)
Many companies have programs to give back to schools. Check out a list of these programs and how you can help give to Northrop in your everyday life by a click of a button, purchasing products or paying with a credit or debit card.

Donations made to the Northrop PTA through financial gifts, fundraising and corporate programs have benefited Northrop with:

  • $250 classroom stipend for teachers and specialists
  • Math Corp
  • Field trip transportation
  • Northrop's gardens
  • School calendar/handbook
  • Yearbooks
