Special Education Resource Teacher
I am beyond excited to be a Special Education Resource Teacher at Northrop!
I grew up in Northfield, Minnesota and attended Grinnell College in Iowa. After spending a few years in education research, I completed a Masters Degree at University at Albany (New York) and started my teaching career in New York City in the South Bronx. After six years, I missed Minnesota so much that I moved back and found my way to Minneapolis Public Schools. This will be my 9th year with MPS and my 18th year of teaching, 14 years with elementary students and 3 years teaching teachers as a PAR Mentor. I live in south Minneapolis with my husband and our cat Monica (named after the character from Friends).
