Hello! My name is Samantha Johnson (the kids call me Ms. Sam) and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) working with the amazing Northrop community! I grew up in Northeast Minneapolis and attended Minneapolis Public Schools from kindergarten to 12th grade. I received my undergraduate degree from the College of St. Benedict and my masters in social work from University of St. Thomas/St. Catherine University.

I love working with students, their families, and our staff in a variety of ways. As a school social worker I do many things to help students and their families overcome barriers, develop intervention strategies to increase academic success, and provide crisis intervention. Additionally, I serve as the Administrative Designee for special education and coordinate 504 plans for students at Northrop.
