My name is Ali Olson, and I will be your child’s third grade teacher!

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Foundations and a Master of Education degree from the University of Minnesota. This will be my seventh year teaching, but only my fourth year teaching here at Northrop Urban Environmental Learning Center. I love teaching because of all the exploring, learning, and fun we get to have!

I grew up in Hopkins, MN and currently live in South Minneapolis with my adorable Pit Bull, Avery and my spunky cat, Stella Blue. When I'm not teaching, I spend my time reading, hiking, kayaking, walking around the lakes, and simply enjoying Minnesota's great outdoors! One of my favorite things however, is being in the classroom so I can learn and grow with your scholars!

I can’t wait to get to know you and your family! A strong relationship between home and school is SO beneficial to your child’s learning and attitude about school.

Please feel free to contact me any time throughout the year if you have questions, concerns, or just want to check in!

Let's make this a productive and fun year of learning and working together!
